I'm paul.

I live in Edinbugh.

I'm interested in all sorts of things. Social and cultural theory, people, geography and places, music, art, culture, anthropology, food, wine, things, visual culture, history, shopping, sculpture, critical theory, ethnography, inspiration, innovation, cities, cognitive science, books, communities, politics, globalisation and localisation, imagination, situationism.

Space and place often seem to be good glue to connect some of these interests. Or perhaps explain them. I've been lucky enough in the past to explore some of these interests as an a academic researcher. And I still get to explore some of them in my day job as a brand consultant.

This is hopefully going to be a sort of scrapbook of musing, rambling and collation for ongoing exploration.
